INTRODUCTION

Teaching is a journey marked by continuous learning and growth. This portfolio captures the significant chapter in that said journey, our student internship teaching experience at Altamarino-Clasio High School. This is more than just a collection of documentation, reflections, and records, this is a narrative of our development as aspiring teachers. Our transformation from pre-service teachers to just teachers is molded by real classroom experiences, meaningful interactions with students, inspiring mentor-mentee relationships, and being inside the school community.

Throughout our internship, there were many challenges that we faced. These challenges tested our resilience, patience, and adaptability, yet through them our strengths surfaced. We used them as stepping stones that highlighted areas for improvement, as we should. Each lesson taught, each interaction within the school community, and each moment of our internship journey contributed much to shaping our personal and professional identity.

This e-portfolio presents not only the activities and responsibilities we took and challenged us, but also the insights we gained and the visible improvement in ourselves, as students, and as future teachers. It reflects as well the support and guidance of our cooperating teachers, our supervising professor, and the administration of Altamarino-Clasio High School, whose mentorship played a crucial role in our personal and professional growth.

We offer this work and share it with you as a testament of our passion for teaching and learning, and our commitment to becoming better educators. We can only hope that this portfolio be a beacon of inspiration to all, especially, to others who, like us, are just beginning to set foot on a path to education, towards teaching.

About Us

We are a group of ten student-teacher interns from the College of Development Education - Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CDE-CBSUA). We call our group, Team Isarog, as a symbol of the community we were assigned to; and as a symbol of the tenacity of a mountain that we showcased during our internship journey. For 2 months, from February 5 to April 4, we had the opportunity to complete our internship journey at Altamarino-Clasio High School (ACHS) in Curry, Pili, Camarines Sur.

Through our teaching internship, we had many learning experiences as we engaged in meaningful classroom experiences, crafting lesson plans, delivery of instruction, and making connections with the entire ACHS community, from our peers to the students, cooperating teachers, the school head, and the school's faculty and staff. This e-portfolio highlights our journey as student teachers - showcasing our achievements, outputs, our school, our reflections, and our growth as we prepare to become educators with confidence, competence, commitment, and compassion.
