FOUNDATION DAY
Commemorating legacy and wishes of empowering women, Altamarino-Clasio High School celebrates its 32nd Foundation Anniversary in tandem with the Women’s Month Celebration on March 11-12, 2025. The CBSUA student teachers assisted and joined the celebration during the two-day event which highlighted a series of activities that inspired the school body. CBSUA student teachers assisted in preparing the event as various committees: Stage preparation, certificates, and ICT.
The first day of the foundation day anniversary highlights a colorful parade from the school to its community, Barangay Curry, followed by a lively and energetic Zumba dance session. Ensuring the smooth flow of the program, student interns, Ma’am Elyssa Kaye J. Brusas and Ma’am Sheena A. Elcano hosted the event with confidence and a lively demeanor. The formal opening of the program started with the words of inspiration from ACHS’s very own, OIC School Head, Ma’am Jessica B. Rubi, making the program much welcoming for all attendees. In the afternoon, the most awaited event of the celebration was held, the Mr. and Ms. Foundation. The event livened up the audience with its colorful summer-themed search together with its meaningful Q and A portion and other portions of the event.
Spearheading the Women’s Month Celebration, with the student interns as the proponents, the second day opened for all students, faculty and staff, and other guests. This event highlighted the empowering talk of Ma’am Jona Mae V. Asis in the event’s informative symposium. Ma’am Jona together with Ma’am Johanna S. Duque, the school’s GAD coordinator, introduced empowered women and their roles, and the impact of women in society.
The event continued in the afternoon, with a passionate and very hearty competition. With the student as the facilitators, the students enjoyed simultaneous fun-filled games in the Laro ng Lahi event, the games included: Dodgeball, Luksong Tsinelas, Sack Race, and many more. Concluding the event, the awarding of winners was held and the program was closed officially by Ma’am Johanna as the GAD councilor.
The two-day event made a fun and informative break for the students, faculty, and staff of ACHS, truly celebrating the founding of the school with joy and meaning.
