PRE FINAL
DEMONSTRATION

With a mix of excitement and nerves in the air, student interns from the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) - College of Development Education stepped into the spotlight on February 26, 2025, for their much-anticipated Pre-Final Demonstration Teaching at Altamarino-Clasio High School (ACHS).

The full-day event began promptly at 8:00 AM and concluded by 4:00 PM, with each intern scheduled to present a well-prepared demonstration lesson before a panel of evaluators. This major requirement marks one of the most significant milestones in the teaching internship process—a chance to apply months of training, classroom exposure, and guidance into a performance that reflects their readiness as future educators.

Guided by their cooperating teachers, supported by the ACHS faculty, and mentored by their supervising professor, Ma’am Jam, the interns delivered their lessons confidently and passionately. The school's OIC-School Head, Ma’am Jessica B. Rubi, also gave her full support, ensuring the event ran smoothly and that the interns had the resources and encouragement they needed to succeed.

The panelists, composed of ACHS teachers and CBSUA professors, gave high ratings and constructive feedback to the student teachers. They praised the interns for their innovative strategies, classroom management, and ability to connect with students. Some incorporated technology-based materials, interactive games, and student-centered techniques that engaged learners throughout. After the final presentations and feedback sessions, everyone gathered for a short photo session to celebrate the day’s success. Laughter, relief, and tears of joy filled the room, as interns looked back on how far they had come since the beginning of their journey.

For many, this event was more than just an academic requirement—it was a defining moment. It proved that they were ready to embrace the challenges of real classrooms, equipped not just with knowledge, but with the heart and spirit of a true teacher.

The Pre-Final Demonstration Teaching at ACHS stands as a testament to what collaboration between institutions, mentorship, and student perseverance can achieve—a meaningful step toward shaping the next generation of educators.

About Us

We are a group of ten student-teacher interns from the College of Development Education - Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CDE-CBSUA). We call our group, Team Isarog, as a symbol of the community we were assigned to; and as a symbol of the tenacity of a mountain that we showcased during our internship journey. For 2 months, from February 5 to April 4, we had the opportunity to complete our internship journey at Altamarino-Clasio High School (ACHS) in Curry, Pili, Camarines Sur.

Through our teaching internship, we had many learning experiences as we engaged in meaningful classroom experiences, crafting lesson plans, delivery of instruction, and making connections with the entire ACHS community, from our peers to the students, cooperating teachers, the school head, and the school's faculty and staff. This e-portfolio highlights our journey as student teachers - showcasing our achievements, outputs, our school, our reflections, and our growth as we prepare to become educators with confidence, competence, commitment, and compassion.
